Job description: 

Lead weekly trips to national and state parks.  Oversee safety and give instructions for youth nature programs—lead youth on earth discovery and learn about geography, geology, earth science, meteorological research, habitat, nature, the environment, oceans and bodies of water, planets, the solar system and other related subjects in these parks. 

Lead mild to strenuous hikes and activities. Work with other instructors to design and implement programs—mentor assistant instructors during programs and planning. Develop weekly lesson plans in cooperation with other staff for outdoor activities. 

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Geography required.

Job Title: Business Development Director


Salary: $60,278 per year. Employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Dept. of Labor.

Prevailing working conditions: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm.

Job description:

Develop branding and fundraising strategies to increase student enrollment at a progressive private school offering innovative preschool and K-8 programs, working with all levels of staff, management, and clients.

 

Duties include:

  • developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and fundraising plans;

  • conducting market research to identify potential areas and communities of focus;

  • analyzing data to inform or update marketing strategies;

  • strategizing pricing structures for enrollment services and responding to admission inquiries;

  • developing business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required to develop a strong fundraising plan and make marketing presentations to target groups;

  • managing sales quotes and contracts;

  • communicating with prospective families via email, phone, and in-person;

  • cultivating relationships with clients, prospective clients, and referral sources;

  • seeking out ways to improve and build marketing strategies to help the admissions team proactively;

  • working across departments to implement growth strategies;

  • managing and updating multiple spreadsheets, conducting analysis, and importing into admissions software;

  • inviting prospective families to admissions events to market the school to the community;

  • supervising and monitoring incoming applications, analyzing sales data and trends to inform marketing strategies; and representing the school at marketing events.


Minimum job requirements:

(1) Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration with a major in marketing, or closely-related marketing field. (2) 24 months of experience in position focused on marketing and/or business development, including at least 12 months of the following areas: a) Coordinating marketing events, b) Developing and presenting marketing presentations and related materials, c) Conducting market research to identify target markets, d) Cultivating relationships with clients, prospective clients, and referral sources, e) Working across departments to implement growth strategies, f) Analyzing sales data to inform marketing strategies, g) Working with all levels of staff, management, and clients, and h) Managing sales quotes and contracts. Job Title: Program Coordinator

Full-Time: 40 hours per week  


Job duties: 

Analyze and determine the scope of English educational curriculum offerings, and propose program outlines and contents based on capacity of student enrollments, students’ age, parents’ preferences, staff qualifications, etc.  Analyze and develop English assessment tests covering the English subjects in areas of listening, reading, writing, speaking and grammar.  Review assessment results of each student and analyze the English proficiency levels of each student; and assign each student to a suitable ESL curriculum level/program.  Design specific ESL academic curriculums and programs suitable for each level of student and teach the programs to students at all levels.  Monitor students’ learning progress and determine students’ learning problems in order to provide students and staff with proper assistance in resolving the problems.  Hold regular meetings with students, students’ parents, and staff to discuss the feasibility and effectiveness of current ESL programs, and determine necessary revisions in areas of reading, writing, listening, speaking, or grammar.

 

Education Requirement:

Master degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, English, or Education.
