The K-8th graders performed West Side Story this winter at the San Anselmo Playhouse. They did an amazing job singing, dancing, and acting their way into the hearts of all who watched. The bravery and skill showcased were nothing short of remarkable and we couldn't be more proud of what these young people have accomplished.  All of the hard work certainly paid off!

A huge thank you to all of the parents who worked so hard to build the sets, manage backstage, clean up after the show and so much more. We could have not done this without you! We want to also recognize the Site Producers for their tremendous efforts over the past months to pull this off seamlessly - Gaby Dominguez and Lisa Fox. We can not thank you enough for your dedication and constant attention to detail. Also a huge shout out to the creative team, Jake Chamberlain, Ryan Hickey, Andy Trapp, Stacey Printz, and Chloe Bermudez.

And of course huge applause for the maestro of the entire show - Aidan Gavet. You are a remarkable talent in your craft but also in your ability to effectively pull out the very best in every child. This experience has changed who our students are inside and out, how they see and value themselves, and their sense of belonging in the community collective. In giving them this experience, you gave them a place to safely push themselves and to bond with their classmates, parents, and teachers in important and long-lasting ways. However, even more importantly, you gave them the opportunity to try something new, find success and shine! What an amazing gift! Thank you for your vision, dedication, and leadership. You helped create an experience that not only helped the children grow as young people but that they will hold fondly in their hearts and minds for a lifetime.

Thank you Dana Spaeth-Williams for your beautiful photos and video tribute.
