After School Enrichment Classes

Stimulating, fun after-school classes open to the public. You don't need to be a Terra Schools student to take advantage of our top-level instructors and courses.

All of our programs are open to both Terra Schools and outside students.

Mondays

Elementary Mandarin

Ages 5-8

  • Mon from 3:40 PM to 4:40 PM

  • 10 participants (first come, first served)

​​

  • $27 per session (Lesson + Snack + Chaperone)

​

  • This introductory Chinese course is specially designed for young learners with little to no prior exposure to the Chinese language. Through a dynamic blend of songs, movement, storytelling, and hands-on crafts, students will embark on a joyful journey into the world of Mandarin Chinese. Join this class is not just about learning a language; it’s about fostering curiosity and a global mindset in a warm, supportive, and fun-filled environment.

Tuesdays

Chess

Ages 5-9

  • Tue from 3:40 PM to 4:40 PM

  • 12 participants (first come, first served)

​​

  • $29 per session (Lesson + Snack + Chaperone)

​

  • Students develop focus, patience, and strategic thinking while learning chess. Fun lessons and friendly games make the learning experience engaging for beginners and experienced players alike.

  • Dates: September 15, 2026 – December 15, 2026

Wednesdays

Junior Junior Engineering

Ages 2-5

  • Wed from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM

  • 10 participants (first come, first served)

​

  • $32 per session (Lesson + Snack + Chaperone)

​

  • Young children explore early STEM concepts through hands-on activities, building, stacking, and playful experiments that spark creativity and curiosity.

  • Dates: September 9, 2026 – December 16, 2026

  • No class on:

    • Wednesday, October 14, 2026

    • Wednesday, November 25, 2026

Thursdays

Junior Engineering

Ages 5-8

  • Thu from 3:35 PM to 4:35 PM

  • 14 participants (first come, first served)

​

  • $32 per session (Lesson + Snack + Chaperone)

​

  • Older children dive into exciting STEM projects, developing problem-solving and creative thinking skills through guided, hands-on challenges.

  • Dates: September 17, 2026 – December 17, 2026

  • No class on:

    • Thursday, December 26, 2026

We are pleased to offer a single, consistent rate for all families. Students currently enrolled in our aftercare program receive a special discounted price.

  • Terra Schools Families: Register and manage payments through Brightwheel/Clarity. Billing for the Spring session will begin in January.

  • External Families: Register and pay securely through our Sawyer portal.

  • Non-Refundable Sessions: Classes are non-refundable for absent or sick days.

After School Care

Limited space is available in Terra Schools' after care program. Children enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, a healthy snack, and free choice in our indoor-outdoor classroom. After care is offered Monday to Friday 3:15pm to 5:30pm and can be combined with After School Enrichment classes.
